THURSDAY, 18 JUNE. LEADER'S REACTION COURSE.
Just off the hardball (that's a main road that runs along the eastern edge of Grafenwöhr), at Camp Kasserine, right next to Range 117 (that's a tank range) there is a challenging set of obstacles. It's called the Leaders' Reaction Course (also known as the "Leadership" Reaction Course). JROTC cadets tackled eight of the 12 tasks on the course. Each task is designed to put the squad leader under stress requiring him or her to make quick decisions. Sometimes the situation seems hopeless; sometimes the leaders . . . even JROTC cadet leaders . . . come up with unique solutions.\
