Parents . . . here is some basic information about camp and camp protocols that you may want to know.  If there is something you would like to know, but you can't find the information here, just click here for the comment form to ask your question.

My son/daughter is not in Army JROTC.  How can he/she go to JCLC?

JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge Europe is sponsored jointly by DoDEA and U.S. Army Cadet Command.  Participants must be DoDEA students and enrolled in JROTC during the previous school year.  Occasionally cadets from schools in CONUS have been invited to our camp as a group.  We are limited to 120 cadets in the basic program; Air Force and Navy programs in Europe are offered a limited number of seats at "camp" . . . but whether your cadet is Army, Air Force or Navy, talk to your JROTC program instructor.

Cadet Telephone Policy

Cadets are not allowed to have a cell phone . . . any that are brought to camp will be collected and kept safe.  If you want to talk to your cadet, call us at the number on the home page . . . we'll collect him or her . . . or have him or her call you back.  If your cadet wants to call you, all he or she has to do is ask his or her TAC NCO.  Don't worry . . . we won't separate you from your child.

Graduation Parade

(Updated on 10 June 2019)
The graduation parade is on Sunday, 23 June, at 1100.  It is scheduled to be at the 7th Army NCO Academy, vicinity building 3344 Camp Normandy, Grafenwöhr.  Parking is available near building 3000; the parade field is easily accessible through a personnel gate.   Check back here for the most up-to-date information.  After the parade, cadets will return to their barracks to change clothes, get their certificates, awards and a sack lunch.  After cadets change into civilian clothes, they will move their bags out of the barracks . . . and most will use the time to say 'goodbye' to all their new friends.  It is truly an emotional time for most of our cadets.  Look for photos after the event on this website.

FOUL WEATHER PLAN FOR GRADUATION.  Watch the weather . . . sometimes it can be cold and wet in June.  The foul weather plan is to use the old field house across the street from Burger King on Tower Barracks (foul weather plan parking @ Burger King or the Tower Inn; the field house is across the street next to the MCSS).  The camp commander will make the foul weather decision about 1000 . . . so if we are not at the NCO Academy, come to the field house or call us at 09641-454-3392.  See the maps below.
